New piece 'Mirror' in progress for exhibition

At the moment I am in the midst of getting ready for my next exhibition, 'Northern Glass Innovations', which opens at 36 Lime Street Gallery in Newcastle's Ouseburn district on 25th August. This is a piece I am working on with hundreds of figure-shaped mirror parts

. I'm really excited by the new work that is emerging from the collaborating artists that are involved - myself, Laura Johnston, Sue Woolhouse. It is the first time I have exhibited in a three-person collaboration and it's going to be a fantastic show! It is open to the public from Saturday 25th August until Saturday 1st September inclusive11am - 4pm and the artists will be talking about the work and the making process.
